Principal Investigator 

Charlotte Rommerskirchen is a Senior Lecturer in International Political Economy at The University of Edinburgh, where she completed her PhD in 2014. Her research and teaching focus on the politics of sovereign debt, as well as the global political economy more broadly. 

She was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Notre Dame, USA,  a POLSIS Visiting Fellow at the University of Queensland, Australia, and a Visiting Researcher at the University of Konstanz, Germany.

From 2013 to 2018 she was part of an ERC-funded research project with Donald MacKenzie on Evaluation Practices in Financial Markets. Her first monograph, Free Riders on the Storm: EU Fiscal Policy Coordination in Hard Times (2019) has been published by Oxford University Press.
